The conference “Smart City. Urban Technologies for Socio-economic Inclusion“ was held yesterday at the Department of Economics.
An important event, sponsored by our Association, featured Vice President Giampiero Biamino as a speaker. He shared the experience of Genova Smart City, illustrating its dynamics, objectives, and the tools used to achieve them.
More than 25 selected presentations were part of the second edition of the “SMART CITY. Urban Technologies for Socio-economic Inclusion” conference, representing various scientific disciplines and beyond from the University of Genoa.
The event followed the great success of the first edition of the conference, which took place in 2023. The second edition aimed to strengthen internal networking among professors and researchers working on the cross-disciplinary theme of smart cities from different perspectives.
Valuable contributions were made by the speakers: Laura Gaggero, Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Genoa, Paola Dameri, University of Genoa, Rector’s Delegate for Smart City, Matteo Campora, Regional Councilor of Liguria, and Alfredo Viglienzoni, Smart City expert.
